LIFE ON POINTE BEGAN IN 2015 AS AN AVENUE TO SHARE THE PROCESS OF BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL BALLET DANCER. NINE YEARS LATER, LIFE ON POINTE CONTINUES TO BRING QUALITY DANCE EDUCATION TO DANCERS STATEWIDE.
MEET THE OWNER
Elyanna Kim has been dancing for 20 years under the best vocational ballet training. Her professional ballet career began in 2018 when she moved to Los Angeles to dance for several companies. As a ballet specialist, Ms. Kim has provided excellent ballet training to students across the state of California since 2019. She is currently a freelance professional dancer specialising in ballet, contemporary, modern, and jazz, and currently specialises in teaching ballet and pre-professional ballet coaching (online and in person).

Since beginning Life On Pointe TV in 2015, Ms. Kim has dedicated herself to the future of dance, dreaming to build a better environment to foster a dancers’ growth, no matter what age, body type, ethnicity, or ability. Her passion is to educate the next generation of dancers to become healthy and whole dancers who are excellent in the industry.

Ms. Kim offers coaching online for students outside of Bakersfield, CA., while offering in-person coaching to students within Kern County.

Ms. Kim has been awarded DISTINCTION with the Royal Academy of Dance from 2009 - 2018.
Ms. Kim has been awarded Registered Teacher Status with the Royal Academy of Dance and produced students of distinction.
Ms. Kim has been awarded her certificate & diploma in Dance Education from the University of Bath (United Kingdom). She is currently completing her Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Dance Education.
Ms. Kim has been invited to teach ballet worldwide for her esteemed coaching and professionalism for pre-professional students and helping them achieve their goals to become professional ballet dancers.
